How to choose where to live?
Why not choose based on how well the country …..?
We propose a grading based on a few datapoints which still are vital both in the short and long term for both citizens and digital nomads – even to some extend tourists.
Do keep in mind that this is a working process and changes to the grading might happen, when new external indexes are founded or the scope extends when encountering some countries exemplary work
The main problem at least in European countries is the low spending ratio of GDP on prevention, which ranges from 0.12-1.2 % and in absolute numbers range from 23€ -566€ per capita.
This is probably influenced how well the different stages of prevention are implemented from primordial to quaternary ( see relevant questionnaire)
- For example all EU countries don’t screen for the same cancers, use the same vaccination coverage in children and later on in adults- for ex whooping cough/pertussis
- Denmark’s focus on fall prevention and cognitive health programs has reduced age-related disability rates by 12% since 2020
The disparity in private and public sector medicine in developing countries
- For example when travelling outside EU I recommend all my friends, relatives to get travel insurance and to skip public hospitals and directly use private medicine
- wait-times
- accredited excellence centers for ex stroke management
- Staff amounts the sector- both doctors and nurses
- life expectancy current and at birth
- Private and public insurance
- Prevalence of medical startups and medical companies offering services that public sector or public health insurance doesn’t cover
Another simple thing is antimicrobial resistance, while at first glance it mainly seems like a problem for someone who lives for a long time in the country so to have enough time to get the resistant microbes and get a potential infection, But keeping in mind hospital infection rates and accident rates, anyone could get a wound or a secondary infection while getting treatment for other conditions

How they integrate climate resilience into Prevention since climate changes allows disease vectors to spread, extreme temperature is linked to disease exasperations etc
Universities conducting basic and interventional research and the industry to support it – people who can turn knowledge into insight and into product the medical system and you can use.
